April 9 is National Unicorn Day in America! FINAL FANTASY has its own share of elegant horned beasts – let’s take a look at a couple!

Unicorn (FFVI)

A creature with a sharp, spiraled horn on its head. It’s said that the unicorn’s horn has antidotal properties, and the healing flash that emanates from it removes a number of negative status effects from all allies.

Unicorn (FFXIV)

These single-horned beastkin are extremely guarded creatures who will rarely, if ever, reveal themselves to man. Atypical cases of unicorns being tamed almost always involve years of gaining the creatures’ trust before even first contact is made.
