It’s that time of year again! Get ready for the finale to the 2019 FINAL FANTASY Trading Card Game competitive season, the 2019 FFTCG World Championship!
FFTCG battles have taken place around the globe, and the stage is now set for the Top 32 to face off in Los Angeles, California, US on November 23rd & 24th and compete for the title of the 2019 FINAL FANTASY TCG World Champion!
Players have been invited to this year’s World Championship after qualifying at events held in Southeast Asia, Japan, China, Australia, Canada, United States, Spain, Italy, Germany, UK, France, and Belgium.
While the 2019 FFTCG World Championship is not open to the public, the event will be streaming live on the Square Enix Presents YouTube channel so those of you at home can still be part of the action.

Schedule
Format
Tournament Day 1
Day 1 will consist of all 32 players participating in Two Deck Format. Players will register two decks, with no card matching between the two. Players must win with both decks, therefore once a player wins with one of their decks, they are forced to swap to the other for any remaining games. Decks must be decided before using a random method to choose the player who will take the first turn. At the end of Day 1 there will be a cut to Top 16.
Tournament Day 2
Day 2 will consist of the Top 16 players participating in Opus X Draft. Players will be split into two pods, and play in three rounds of Swiss within their pod. Day 1 records will be combined with Day 2 to decide the Top 8. The Top 8 will then go back to Two Deck Format and play in Best of 3 Single Elimination rounds to decide the 2019 FFTCG World Champion.
