Strago is a blue mage and descendant of the Magi, magic-wielding humans who reside in the hidden village of Thamasa. He and his adopted granddaughter Relm often bicker, but they actually have a strong relationship and he is extremely protective of her. Strago is unsure of Locke and friends when they first arrive in his village, but changes his mind when they help rescue his granddaughter, joining their adventure to pay back the favor.
