Cid
Introduced in FINAL FANTASY II, the character Cid appears in every subsequent mainline title, though his appearance and role differ in each.
In FINAL FANTASY XIV, Cid is the president of Garland Ironworks, a company that employs Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie, among many others. Though a former engineer of the Garlean Empire, he currently pilots the Enterprise and shares his knowledge and technology with other nations and even the adventurer.
